OUR POLICIES
At Plymouth City Brass, we are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to enjoy the power of music. As a registered charity and proud member of Brass Bands England (BBE), we take safeguarding extremely seriously and uphold the highest standards of conduct to ensure everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.

We have implemented key policies—Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Code of Conduct, and Anti-Bullying, to guide our actions and interactions. These policies are designed to protect and support all members of our community, ensuring that everyone, particularly children and vulnerable adults, can participate safely and confidently.

Our Safeguarding Policy ensures robust procedures are in place to protect all individuals involved, with trained staff and volunteers who understand their responsibilities. We are also committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, welcoming individuals from all walks of life and ensuring that everyone feels valued, regardless of race, gender, or background.
Our Code of Conduct promotes respect, teamwork, and integrity, while our Anti-Bullying Policy ensures a zero-tolerance approach to any form of bullying or harassment. We believe in treating everyone with kindness and dignity, creating a positive environment for all to enjoy and grow.

At Plymouth City Brass, we are more than just a band, we are a community. By maintaining these policies and fostering a culture of trust and respect, we ensure that all members can thrive in a safe and supportive setting.
